A sailors woolwork embroidery picture of 'England's Glory' ship. Framed in an old wood frame with gilt slip and glass. Mounted to conservator standards on acid free card with chipboard backing. The embroidery is worked in wool on linen ground. Colours brown, red, yellow, green, pink, white and blue. Features a three-masted, armed steam ship, (presumably 'England's Glory'), a monoplane and twigs of holly (perhaps a christmas gift).
Generally Good. Any fading, holes, stains, defects or stitch losses, when present, is not overly detracting.
