Ralph Wood Staffordshire Pottery figure which features a Medici lion, stood on a plinth base. Brown version. Dull gilt embellishment. Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse. Vent hole to the underside. This piece represents the antique marble lions which stand at the entrance of the Loggia dei Lanzi, a building in Florence, Italy.
