Pair of Staffordshire Pottery figures which feature a spaniel smoking a pipe, stood on a rococo base. Russet and white version. Dull gilt embellishment. Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse. Vent hole to the underside. Book reference ,'A-Z of Staffordshire Dogs, A Potted History', by Clive Mason Pope, page 133
