Pair of Staffordshire Pottery spill vases with a pastoral theme which feature cows, stood on an oblong base. The pieces are titled, 'MILK SOLD HERE' to the fronts. Russet and white version. Dull gilt titles and embellishment. Flatback, decorated mainly to the front. Book reference ,'Victorian Staffordshire Figures 1835-1875' Book 2, by A.& N. Harding, page 240, figure 2895/2896.
