Staffordshire Pottery figure which features an elephant, stood on an oval base. The piece is titled, 'JUMBO' . Bright gilt base line. Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse. Vent holes to reverse and underside. Book reference ,'Victorian Staffordshire Figures 1835-1875' Book 2, by A.& N. Harding, page 246, figure 2937.
