Staffordshire creamware figure which features a spaniel on a tassled cushion, seated on a shaped hollow base. Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse. Vent holes are present. Book reference,'English Earthenware Figures 1740-1840' by Pat Halfpenny, page 90, figure 2.
