Pair of Staffordshire figures which feature a large spaniel, front leg molded free, seated directly on the ground, no base. Copper lustre version. Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse. Vent hole to the reverse. Book reference,'Staffordshire Animals' by Adele Kenny, page 86, figure 1.
