Tallest is 6.1ins high, 6.3ins wide, 2.3ins depth
Period: Victorian, circa 1880
Pair of Staffordshire figures which feature a Bactrian camel with a leather water bottle at its feet, stood on an oblong base. We think they have possibly been matched up together at some stage because they are of significantly different colouration. Bright gilt base line. Flatback, decorated mainly to the front. Vent holes are present. Book reference,'Victorian Staffordshire Figures 1835-1875' Book 3, by A.& N. Harding, page 260, figure a2865/a2866.
Generally good. Any damage, wear, original manufacturing defects (kiln effects) or restoration, when present, is not overly detracting.
