Description:

Staffordshire Pottery Prattware plaque which features the head and shoulders of a gentleman, relief molded. This piece represents Josiah Wedgwood - the English potter who founded the Wedgwood company. Book reference ,'Pratt Ware 1780-1840' by John and Griselda Lewis, page 193, figure 1.
