Walton Staffordshire Pottery pearlware bocage group which features a couple in front of a bocage tree, holding a floral garland, stood on a shaped scroll work base. The piece is titled, 'TENDERNESS'. Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse. Maker's marks Walton molded ribbon. Book reference ,'English Earthenware Figures 1740-1840' by Pat Halfpenny, page 232.
