Pair of Sarreguemines Majolica wall pockets which feature Pierrots. The one marked, 'Mardi Gras' holds a handled bowl with a spoon. The other marked, 'Mercredi Cendres' (Ash Wednesday) holds a hat. Colouration: yellow, pink, cream, are predominant. The piece bears maker's marks for the Sarreguemines pottery.
Generally Good. Any damage, wear, original manufacturing defects (kiln effects) or restoration, when present, is not overly detracting.
