Minton Majolica epergne base featuring pond lilies, bulrushes and central flower base to the epergne stem (epergne research in progress). Colouration: green, white, ochre, are predominant. The piece bears maker's marks for the Minton pottery. Bears a pattern number, '1041'. Marks include a factory specific date cipher for the year 1863. Book reference not found.
