| Staffordshire figure with a religious theme which features Joseph Fletcher or Thomas Raffles (the potters have used the same figure for two different people), stood on a circular base. Multi-coloured version. Dull gilt base line and embellishment. Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse. Vent hole to the underside. | Good. No restoration. A few paint losses to his hair. Some rubbing to gilt. KILN EFFECTS: glaze pops to the base, column and his hands; notable crazing; shrinkage cracks to his left side and to his back; touch marks to the reverse; over glazed chip to the base at reverse. |
