Staffordshire Pearlware Cobbler figure

Period: pre-Victorian, circa 1820
Description: Staffordshire pearlware figure which features a cobbler mending a shoe, seated on a square base. Multi-coloured version. Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse. Vent hole to the underside. Maker's marks 'B', impressed to underside. Book reference not found.
Condition: Generally good. No restoration. Two tight hairlines to underside. Some flakes to box, sleeves and left hand. Paint losses to base, shoes, trousers, waistcoat and apron.
Dimensions: 6.7ins high, 3.3ins wide, 3.3ins depth
