| Right facing: Generally good. Slight rubbing to gilt. KILN EFFECTS: notable crazing; flecks of stray coloured glaze to the cow's face and right legs. RESTORATION: Remodelled left horn. Right horn has been retouched. Left facing: Generally good. No restoration. Some rubbing to gilt. KILN EFFECTS: kiln soot and detritus caught in the glaze to the ground, cow and to base; shrinkage line to the base. |
