KILN EFFECTS: firing pits to the base and spaniel; kiln soot caught in the glaze to the reverse; touch mark to tail. RESTORATION: Retouching to russet markings. Left facing: Generally good. Some rubbing to gilt. KILN EFFECTS: small firing pits to the base and spaniel; over glazed shrinkage lines to the tops of the legs and to back of spaniel. RESTORATION: Stabilised and retouched hairline to the front of the base. Retouching to russet markings. |
