| Condition: | Right facing: Good. Some rubbing to gilt. KILN EFFECTS: flecks of stray coloured glaze to the cow's back; shrinkage crack under the cow's right front leg. RESTORATION: Filled chip to cow's left ear. Left facing: Good. No restoration. Slight rubbing to gilt. KILN EFFECTS: flecks of stray coloured glaze to the cow's back; kiln soot caught in the glaze to the reverse; kiln detritus caught in the glaze to the reverse and base. |
