| Staffordshire tureen with cover which features a hen with her seven chicks. One of the chicks is perched on her back, the others peep out from underneath, resting on a shaped base. We think they have possibly been matched up together at some stage because they are of significantly different sizes. Multi-coloured version. Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse. Book reference not found. |
