Staffordshire sheep spill vase

Description: Staffordshire spill vase with a pastoral theme which features a ram and ewe, recumbent on a shaped hollow base. Dull gilt embellishment. Decorated mainly to the front. Book reference not found.
Condition: Good. Small chip to leaf on spill. Slight rubbing to gilt. KILN EFFECT: staining to the reverse; over glazed chip to leaf on base. RESTORATION: Stabilised and retouched hairline to left spill.
Dimensions: 3.5ins high, 5.1ins wide, 3ins depth
