Period: Pre-Victorian, circa 1820
Description: Small Staffordshire Pearlware figure of a putto holding a bird under one arm. He wears a cloth draped around his waist. Modeled on a russet lined, square plinth base. Decorated all round. Vent hole to underside.
Condition: Good. No cracks. No hairlines. A few flakes around the base. Small paint loss to beak. Slight rubbing to hair. Three restored chips to base. Restored flake to right shoulder. Retouching to cloak and ground.
Dimensions: 4.75ins high
