Description: Pair of Kent Staffordshire figures which feature a zebra, stood on a shaped base. Decorated 'in the round' - decoration to front and reverse. Book reference,'Victorian Staffordshire Figures 1835-1875' Book 2, by A.& N. Harding, page 266, figure 3112/3113.
Condition: Right facing: Generally good. KILN EFFECT: flecks of stray coloured glaze to the zebra. RESTORATION: Ears and right hind leg remodelled. Tail reglued and join retouched. Left facing: Generally good. KILN EFFECT: flecks of stray coloured glaze to the zebra. RESTORATION: Reglued right front leg. Retouched flake to left ear.
Dimensions: Tallest is 4.7ins high, 4.8ins wide, 2.6ins depth
