Description: Pair of Staffordshire figures which feature a spaniel with a curly tail, seated directly on the ground, no base. Russet and white version. Dull gilt embellishment. Decorated mainly to the front. Vent hole to the reverse. Book reference not found.
Condition: Right facing: Good. No restoration. A few paint losses to muzzle, paws, ears and tail. Some rubbing to gilt. Slight wear to reverse and tail. KILN EFFECTS: shrinkage crack to the tail. Left facing: Good. No restoration. Three small flakes to the reverse. A few paint losses to muzzle, paws and markings. Slight rubbing to gilt. KILN EFFECTS: shallow firing crack to the left ear.
Dimensions: Tallest is 12.4ins high, 9.4ins wide, 4.3ins depth
