Description: Pair Staffordshire treacle glazed cats. Sat on rectangular bases with tail curled around their paws. Interiors unglazed.
Condition: Good. Slight wear. Right facing: Kiln effects: uneven glaze application around the lower base edge; unevenly molded base causing the piece to rock. Two restored chips to lower base edge at reverse. Retouching to ears and upper base edge at front. Left facing: Kiln effects: unevenly molded base causing the piece to rock; piece of kiln detritus to base front. Restored chip to ears and three base corners.
