| Description: | Salins Majolica asparagus plate molded as five asparagus tips laid in the center of a cream plate. An artichoke bud and leaves are molded around one side of the rim. Cream reverse with stilt marks under the rim. Impressed 'SALINS' maker's mark inside the foot rim. Similar piece illustrated on page 75, Massin's 'Artichauts et Asperges en Barbotine' by Maryse Bottero. |
