| Description: | Minton Secessionist jardiniere and stand. Decorated with tube lined stylized pink flowers with yellow centers. Light green ground with leaves and stems picked out in olive green. Spotted base to both pieces. Yellow to interior of both pieces. Three stilt marks to base interior of jardiniere. Drainage hole to top of stand. Printed and impressed maker's marks to underside of both pieces. |
| Condition: | Generally good. Jardiniere: Some small flakes to exterior, and a couple to rim. Slight wear to exterior. Kiln effects: crazing on both sides, particularly to interior; over glazed manufacture chip and a touch mark to rim; some glaze run to exterior. Two restored rim chips. Stand: No restoration. Hairline to the top of column. Wear to the top, exterior and base. Kiln effects: shrinkage line from drainage hole; a few glaze pops to the top; some glaze run to exterior. |
