Circa 1920. 8.25ins diameter, 3.75ins high. Wedgwood Daventry lustre imperial bowl.

Ruby panels to exterior decorated with a panoramic Chinese-style landscape and floral motifs.
Yellow lustre interior overprinted with crimson thorn diaper.
Central motif of a Chinese garden bridge leading to a pagoda-roofed house, surrounded by trees and flowers.
Border of gilt fretwork ornament, separated by floral sprigs, around both sides of the rim. Rothwell bead decoration around the foot rim.
Orange lustre inside the foot rim with Wedgwood 'Portland vase' maker's mark and pattern number 'Z5440 2'. Similar pieces illustrated, exterior on page 70 and interior on page 236, 'Wedgwood Fairyland Lustre' by Una des Fontaines.
Condition
Good. No restoration. No cracks. No hairlines. No chips. Gilding rubbed to interior circular base panel.
Some light scratches to exterior ground.
Some scratching to the interior circular base panel.
The bowl has a good, clean 'ring'.
