Minton Secessionist No. 19 basin
Circa 1910. 15.75ins diameter, 5.5ins high. Large Minton Secessionist No. 19 basin decorated with gray tube lining, cream and ochre flowers, and green leaves on a blue and green wash ground.
Cream interior.
Three stilt marks to inside of foot rim,
with painted mark and printed maker's marks 'MINTONS LTD' and 'No.19'
Condition
Generally good. Minor flaking to foot rim, worst illustrated.
Some wear and scratches to interior and exterior, illustrated.
Kiln effects: 0.25ins glazed over shrinkage hairline to rim,
glaze craters and bubbles to exterior,
glaze accumulation to foot rim, all illustrated.
Repaired crack running from base to one side of bowl (still slightly visible on exterior), illustrated.
