Pair Staffordshire treacle glazed lions

Pair Staffordshire treacle glazed performing lions. Lions stand on plinth bases with one front paw resting on a ball. Stilt marks to foot rim of both. CONDITION: Good. No cracks. No hairlines. Minor flaking to foot rim of both. Slight wear to both. Right facing: Minor flake to front right paw. Kiln effects: a few glaze bubbles, a piece of kiln detritus to top of base, firing hole to lion's forehead. Two repaired sections to plinth, restored chip and flake to base. Left facing: Very minor chips to tail and corner of base. Minor flake to front left leg and tooth. Kiln effects: piece of kiln detritus to top of base and hind left leg, two firing holes to plinth and lion's back. Restored chips to foot rim and top of base.
