Minton Majolica two-handled snail and acorn vase. Decorated with brown bark effect ground with oak leaves and acorns in relief to sides. Twig effect handles with a snail sitting on the top of each. Green interior and base. Three stilt marks, maker's marks include impressed 'MINTON' and date cipher for 1868 to base.. CONDITION: Good. No restoration. No hairlines. No chips. No flakes. Minor abrasions around the rim. Slight wear to interior, handles and oak leaves. Kiln effects: some overglazed shrinkage cracks where handles join the vase.
