Choisy le Roi Majolica lobster triform centerpiece bowl

Choisy le Roi Majolica triform centerpiece bowl. Dish formed by three clam shells, leafy sprigs laid inside. Lobster with a fish in its claw, forming the handle. Cream reverse. Vent hole and painted maker's mark inside the foot.. CONDITION: Good. No restoration. No cracks. No hairlines. Small chip and flake to the foot. Slight wear to interior. Kiln effect: crazing visible on the cream glaze.
